Turning One

Our favorite little peanut, Maddox Schertz, turned 1 year old today.

(As you can see, the cake was delicious.)

Mr. Handsome insisted we buy Maddox - who, remember is 1 - a baseball glove. And a t-shirt with MVLP (Most Valuable Little Player) proudly emblazoned across the front. Never mind that Maddox will swim in that t-shirt for months. Also, Mr. Handsome grabbed him some jean britches. With a cargo pocket, thank-you-very-much. For all the thing-a-majiggers and what-nots a 1 year old collects and needs to stow away. Motor skills to put said items into said cargo pocket - coming soon.

I very nearly gave myself a Maddox's Birthday present and stole him for forever. He would have fit handily into my purse. (He's quite teensy.)

He makes me and Mr. Handsome want to make babies.
